Ruidos

“Ruidos” (Noises) is a black-and-white short film directed by Silvia Santamaria and written by Ruth Caudeli, produced at Set de Cinema. Mateo and Lucas, the noisy neighbours from flat 3B, receive a complaint letter written in capital letters and go upstairs with a bottle of wine to apologise to Clara and Nora. The meeting goes nothing like anyone expected.

I play Lucas, the one trying to keep everyone calm — “We’re not villains, we’re clumsy neighbours” — while lining up the bottle on the table to the millimetre: he has OCD. A comedy-drama about anxiety, living together and how hard it is to say things face to face. Co-starring Raúl Lledó, Irene Máñez and Anna Bondar.
